Hey Stranger!!
"Sorry, I don't share my notebooks with stranger", it started this way. She used to be a studious & obedient student; while he was naive and a newcomer. Also, Nepali was his weak point, whereas, she had a good grip on it. So, when Mr. Gautam, their Nepali teacher, asked them to write a summary of the poem "Prashnottar", he asked for her notebook. She was full of pride, a bit arrogant and an introvert so when he asked for her homework, she refused to give it to him.
They don't remember it when, but the strangers turned out to be the best friends. Long night phone calls, the early morning chats, chats in-between, the anxiousness when they had to wait for the late night phone calls, the secret conversations, the spilling of beans and everything. Their bond was special.
But, as they say, time and tide waits for none; it wasn't meant to be forever. The Strangers who turned out to be just friends, and then best friends and then a bit more than being just best friends turned out to be strangers again!!
Well, she misses him sometimes, but hopes she never crosses her path with him again. She longs for the phone calls but doesn't want to hear him again. She misses her best friend but doesn't want to cherish those moments again!
