One Indian Girl
(Disclaimer: Before starting this post, I want to mention this isn't a book review. It's just how I felt about Radhika's life in general).

Half way through the book and each page makes me feel like I'm Radhika, the protagonist.

As quoted by Debu, "You're hard to deal with"; I'm the same. Not everyone can handle me and I take my pride on it because it's who I am. If you can't handle my tantrums, you don't deserve me at all!!!
Hard-working, successful in academia & career (exceptional trait in my case), achieves what she desires, feels insecure about her looks: we are almost the same. With each book that I've read, I am amazed on how Mr. Bhagat portrays women so beautifully with words.
Radhika earns more than anyone of her age but is an emotional fool. She's loved by all in her workplace but she yearns for the love of that one person, Debu. She's gullible and trusts everyone easily and, in return, gets hurt. She uses her potential to crack a very difficult deal and makes profits for her company, but is lost when it comes to her own life decision. She gets the highest bonus and five-star appraisal from her colleagues but isn't confident on her own abilities. She is sexy and likable but is scared that she won't be loved by anyone else if Debu leaves her. She is vocal about being a feminist, but is ready to leave her own career for a guy who can't handle her professional growth. Though she has desire to achieve more, she also wants a house and family with kids. She feels it's a shame to cry in front of her boss but easily cries in a bar full of people after hearing the heart-aching song.
She is bold, courageous, smart, tough and an achiever but is also loving, caring and a pure human soul. And like every woman, she's ready to leave her career for a guy and be with him as his 'wife'. She wants to fly in the sky but wants to halt and have nest and family as well.
She starts her story by mentioning that people may hate her after knowing her life style, while, I one the other hand, love her and admire her. I relate to her so much. I feel like she is in me or may be I am her; as if she is acting my life with her fictional characters.

Radhika is a girl with inferiority complex, I'd say :)
