Round the globe so much happened in 2016 but like we say, "Time and tide waits for none", 2016 has ended and 2017 has arrived. We lost so many legends but discovered some motivators, went crazy over Pokemon-Go to Mannequin Challenge and who could forget USA's presidential election to India's demonetization and Allepo's destruction which was heart aching but still life went on. Leaving everything aside, it's time to get a new calendar for your house. Nothing miraculous happened in my version of 2016 but every morning I thank God as I wake up alive and I have roof over my head, food to fill in my stomach and family and friends whom I love. Here's a sneak-peek to my 365 days of 2016.
DECEMBER
While the sun rises at 8 or 9 (or sometimes no sun rise) and it gets dark at 2 or 3 itself; I managed to go out sometimes and enjoy the cold. Our winter holidays kicked off and most of our friends managed to get out of this town (lucky them)---- I spent most of my time inside my cozy room.

NOVEMBER
Not much happened in November. Just visited Malmo, Sweden for few hours. It was a small town but beautiful and just 30 minutes train ride from Copenhagen. :)

Time for Sweden in November!
OCTOBER
October was a festive month starting off with Dashain. I was sure that I wouldn't be putting tika this year but plans change and I celebrated my foreign Dashain in a land of unknown. Then was my colorful trip to Oslo, Norway where Anupam and Amrit gave a warm and hospitable welcome. It was the peak of fall and Oslo looked simply breathtaking. Then was Tihar where I celebrated Laxmi Puja in an Indian temple (Didn't know religion was divided on the basis of country 'coz one of the guy asked me, "Is there any Nepali temple?" Duh-uh!!)

JULY
July must have been the month where I enjoyed the most. First we finished our integration module in Rennes, France. Then everyone went back home and I came back to Sheffield, UK. Not a single day I spent in my room. I made a day trip to Liverpool on my own in a rainy day, then to beautiful Chatsworth House with Cho and Samzana, then again hiking to beautiful Monson Trail and a beautiful small town Bakewell and then left Sheffield and went to beautiful Southampton. Then London for few days. How can I forget I watched my country playing in Lord's Stadium and they won. And finally left UK and came to Copenhagen, Denmark. What an amazing experience I had!!!

May was boring. Just went to Manchester TWICE!
APRIL
April was spring holidays where I went to the capital, London. I knew to travel alone, hopped on and off in trains (tubes what they called) and then went to beautiful Isle of Wight. And since ONCE was not enough for the capital city, made another trip and missed the bus and all the chaos happened during that trip.

Not much to do in Jan 'coz most of our friends were gone home or for holidays and only few of us stayed. I was basically spending most of my time in Diamond, library doing my assignments. I experienced first snow in Sheffield and probably last as well ('coz there was no snowfall after that).
