The voice I fell in love with...
It is not always the face or the actions and deeds or their external features you love in a person. Sometimes, you love/like/adore things and be passionate about them beyond these few external traits. I love a voice and have been in love with it since very long. The voice I used to hear very close and longed to hear it over again and again. The voice was usual like everyone else but was magical. It was soft and soothing but captivating. So clear and melodious for me. I could hear it forever.
Those were the days when I used to listen to shows in FMs more than watching TV shows. And then there was a voice- the voice I heard for the first time in the backyard of my house. We had a big radio which was not much in use as it only played Radio Nepal that time. But when 96.1 Kantipur FM was launched in Saptari, our unused stereo was our friend. Since 5 am from Bhakti darshan until 8 pm our favorite RJs Aashish and Prasan's show (especially on Thursdays) and sometimes even late night programmes in low tuned volume: FM was with us.
Later, we got mobiles with FM radios (Smartphones?? What was that? FM was the big thing then). Aayu and I used to have earphones 24*7- like literally. It was partly because we didn't have television then but also we were addicted to variety of radio soaps there were for us. But I was in love with that one voice. I used to wait for hours just to listen to the voice I loved.
The first thing I did when we had internet in our home is I logged in website of K-FM and looked for the face of the voice I was in love with. Then, I didn't want to. I was in love with the voice not the face. I resisted. But, just after few days, I didn't have self-control to stop myself. I checked the profile of the voice.
I only knew the name of the voice. Now, I was enlightened with the full name and a passport sized photo. The face was not much clear but Aayu said, "Ahhhh, I had imagined something different." That didn't matter me much.
By this time, we were addicted to an evening call show in NTV plus: Play it on. Surprise, surprise: I hear the same voice in TV and I finally see him. He was dressed in a white kurta like tee and jeans(I somewhat remember).
I finally saw Sanjay, the man whose voice I fell in love with. Since then, there was no turning back. I could see him most of the evenings in TV and hear his voice of course.

It has been a long time since then. He has grown professionally and now he is much confident and a charmer than he used to be. Thanks to social media, I sometimes stalk him in Instagram. He has a cute nephew and a newly born niece. And not to forget, he is an actor as well. His debut movie Safar is coming soon.
With time, I have fallen for many faces but he is one of the Nepalese personality I really admire among very few others. His voice is still the same: mesmerizing.
All the very best Sanjay for whatever you do.
You may have many admirers Sanjay and I'm among them in the crowd.
Best wishes from your fan girl.
