I am a NEPALI... म नेपाली हुँ

Once my friend from Germany said, "I am a German only when I am out of Germany". Though the circumstance may differ, when I think about it I feel the same. I am known as a Nepalese these days when I am not in Nepal 'coz back in Nepal I was tagged as either a Bahun or Pahadiya. Sad but true!!

देश बाहिर त यो झन्डाको नि कम्ति माया लाग्दैन त ! 

कुनै दिन मेरो एउटा जेर्मन साथीले "म जेर्मनी भन्दा बाहिर हुँदा मात्रै जेर्मन कहलिन्छु ", भनेर भन्थ्यो। परिवेश छुट्टै भए पनि अहिले सोच्दा मलाई पनि त्यस्तै लाग्छ। अहिले देश बाहिर हुँदा मात्रै मेरो पहिचान नेपाली भन्ने भएको छ।  देशमा हुँदा त म कि त "पहाडिया " थिएँ कि त "बाहुनी " थिएँ।  तितो यथार्थ !!
