Bend it like Beckham
David Beckham!!!
Tell me, how many of you have/had a crush on Beckham (this is especially for the girls)... Well, I had and I still have. (It's already been may be more than 10 years).
Many men invaded my thoughts during those past 10 years but D-Beck is still young and fresh in my heart.
Must be the movie, "Bend it like Beckham", I was first introduced to him. I don't exactly remember my first acquaintance (of course digital one) with him but may be the movie. Though he was not the central character in the movie, the protagonist; Jess was his huge fan. It was that movie, I guess, instilled so much of football spirit in me. I started loving football, especially the English squad because there was Beckham in it.
Years has gone by, lots of ups and downs in both of our life. He has already retired. But, guess what?? I must be the luckiest one 'coz I will get to see my fantasy guy playing after 2 days.
And not to forget, in the "Dreams of Theatre", in the Old Trafford stadium. Coming Saturday, 14th November, I have been counting my days for it. First, I always had this wish of watching at least one international football match in my life. Second, I wanted to watch a match in Old Trafford. Third, I wanted to see Beckham play and the last, I wish to see the RED DEVILS play. Except for my last wish, I will get to live up my wish on coming Saturday.
Ahhhhh!!! is this a dream?? I can't believe it. I will actually see Beckham playing a 90 minutes football match in OLD TRAFFORD...
So, Bend it like Beckham. Keep Calm, Saturday is Coming.. :)
