....... because MOTHERS are the best of all!!!

Lots have been said and written about them. They have been praised and their love has always been appreciated. Though the words “praise” and “appreciate” may not be enough for their tribute for us, but I only have these limited words in my vocabulary. Last time on Mothers’ Day, when I signed up for my facebook, I saw my facebook wall poured with beautiful sayings of my friends for their mothers. Everyone quoted, “My mother is the best mother of this world” and that really made me ponder for a while. Really? If their mother were the best mom in the world then what was our mother?

Even she wakes up early in the morning and makes breakfast for us so we don't get late for our colleges; then after she is done with her daily chores, she enters the kitchen; prepares lunch and finishes all her duty as a house-wife. Then she dresses up and goes for her official duty. And in evening, when she returns from her work exhausted, what she finds is her children giving her a hungry smile. Hurriedly, she gets into the kitchen again and does something for our stomach, listens to our whole day stories with a cup of tea and again enters into the kitchen for dinner. If she spares some time for herself, she gets connected to the world through the World Wide Web and finally gives rest to her eyes and her stereotyped life of a house-wife for a day.

At times I wonder, what has the God gifted her with that she is so agile the whole day. She never lets her gusto low because of the daily works and does it happily without any arguments. And again I think, how can she read our mind? How does she understand our likes and dislikes even when we say nothing at all? She knows our pain and happiness; smiles when we smile and cries along with us; gets happy with our victory and sheds tear on our failure. She acts like a friend to hear our stories, behaves like a mother when she has to and turn into an agony aunt whenever we have problems in our life. It is amazing!! She’s a wonder woman, a SUPER WOMAN I’d rather call, with all the magical power gifted from heaven who smiles for us even if she has so much of grief and sufferings within her just to see us happy. She is my MOTHER and like everyone else’s she is the best mother in the world because mothers are the best of all.

My beautiful mommy... My lady love
As a child, I thought she had a wonderful time staying back at home and doing all the things, better than going to school where we had to listen to teachers and do assignments even after coming back from school. I used to ignore her calls whenever she used to call me for my help in kitchen. I never thought being a house wife and more than that, being a mother was the most tedious job in this world. Not only taking care of me, she has to love and care all three of us; make sure that we are doing good in all our venture; ensure we are making good decisions in our life; support us when we fall and help us to rise; and above all she has to run the whole family as a wife and outside the home as a good teacher.

I remember my mother young and beautiful; delighted and enthusiastic and now when she has seen more than 45 springs in her life; there she stands, still beautiful but a bit weary with all the pressures and work she has been doing for us. There she has built a house with her never tiring hands and sees her grown-up children with her spectacled eyes and a broad smile.
Oh! what a pleasure it is to see a mother smiling with the achievement of her kids. I know not only me but all of us would love to see her smile because, mothers are the best of all and my mother is of no exception, "She is the best mother in the world".
